Howards zinn "A people's History Of The United States" talks about history the way it truly is.

He talks about the contributions that native americans and lations gave to the world that we don't ever talk about. Howard Zinn gives history a different perpective.

(Bernardo de Gálvez, the Spanish governor of Louisiana in 1777, played a key role in General George Washington's battles against British soldiers.)
• Fought in World War II
(Somewhere between 250,000 and 500,000 Latinos fought the Axis powers in World War II. Because military records didn't track ethnicity and generally counted Latinos as white, researchers have trouble pinpointing the figure.)

(In 1951, a team of three men who worked for Syntex Corporation in Mexico City – George Rosenkranz, Carl Djerassi and Luis Miramontes – co-created the first viable oral form of contraceptive.)
